What images does ‘relic’ conjure up for you? I have chosen 3 images from a 2012 cruise of the River Thames, London.
Photo taken August 2012 of ship named Huantian of Shenzhen, China sailing down the River Thames, London
The Olympic Rings were added to Tower Bridge 30 days before the London 2012 Olympics, and weighed 3 tonnes and cost £300,000. They were retractable for when ships passed underneath.
Photos taken on the 18 August 2012, just 3 days before the Olympic Rings were removed in preparation for the Paralympics.

Thanks, I am especially pleased with it given it was taken from inside the boat through glass as there were no seats left on deck
