How many times have we heard the phrase, “It’s in God’s hands now” as we wander in a daze. We go through our days cycling between a merry haze of barely realised promise and a foggy maze of half-forgotten dreams and mistakes. Alternating between trusting God and committing our ways to Him to straying from our chosen path and weighing up our options elsewhere. Some days we just lay there, glazed over, waiting for life to begin, not realising it is already passing us by. Yet at any point we can reach again to Him and say, “Our times are in Your hands,” and know that He will welcome us in and fan our heart’s passion back into a blaze.
‘But I am trusting you, O LORD, saying, “You are my God!”My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly’ Psalm 31:14-15 NLT
